OB.sessed • July Edition • A Vacation to the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee

Last month I took a family trip with my husband and our in-laws to Tennessee. I was BLOWN AWAY by the incredible views from the Great Smoky Mountains there and just had to share my experience with you all along with a few other more affordable options that are just as beautiful. There are so many beautiful places to drive to even during the COVID-19 crisis, so I hope these photos inspire you to get away soon.

We road tripped and stayed at Blackberry Mountain — a rural meets luxury resort in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains that first opened to the public in 1990. There are 4,200 acres here with a big focus on outdoor activities like fishing and hiking, but you can also just relax, get a massage, and eat good food, too. There are a wide variety of excursions to choose from and our experience was magical. We will definitely remember this trip forever!
