July Update: Don't Rain On My Parade...

How is everyone doing? I have been a little more quiet than normal this month because the rainstorms did some damage to my home…My heart goes out to anyone else who experienced leaking or flooding in their homes! The torrential downpours and flooding are no joke and it’s horrible to see so many Detroit residents have to deal with this.

Luckily, my home will be OK (thanks to Aaron Rosenhaus from Uniland Corporation for referring us to an emergency restoration contractor). Let’s just say, Kyle and I are hoping the weather cooperates and stays dry for the next few weeks…

Despite all that, this month has been very good to me. We took a little R&R trip out East to Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard earlier this month. Lobster rolls are one of the keys to my heart…(I NEED to grab one from Mudgie’s before the end of the month.) and I can assure you we taste tested quite a few!! Travel has always been one of my favorite ways to reset my mind and kickstart my motivation…so if you have any long weekend trip ideas, send them my way!

For a little business news: With the help of an off-market commercial deal for 2.1 million, July ‘21 has been my best month yet at $4.3 million!

Here’s a quick breakdown:

  • YTD Sales: 15.2 Closed

  • 1 million pending

  • 1.2 million in active listings

  • YTD sales are already 22% higher than all of 2020 volume and I’m on track and aiming for 100% growth year-over-year. Ambitious? YES! Scary? YES! Worth challenging myself to try? YES!

To say I’ve been busy would be an understatement, so I hope you all are hanging in there and staying dry!
